Job Description

The Associate Content Writer and SEO for our team on boost-sy.com uses SEO best practices and refined editorial expertise to improve and update our customers’ websites, web pages, and social media. They exhibit excellent writing skills and the ability to communicate and collaborate with internal teams.

He/She plans and executes social media content (IG, FB, Twitter, Linked In, and applicable new platforms) for a number of businesses. This position works cross-functionally with many teams across the organization such as Ecommerce, Creative. The successful candidate will have to be extremely detail-oriented, and possess strong organizational skills.

This position will also require an understanding of multiple types of business.

An ideal candidate for this position has a contagious positive attitude, a passion for SEO, and an enthusiasm for working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. An ability to pivot between brands on tight deadlines is key.

Who You Are:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English and Arabic)
  • Experience creating or editing content based on SEO concepts and best practices.
  • Experience with product editing, writing or reviewing preferred.
  • Excellent communication and skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and make quick pivots when needed.
  • Ability to grasp the voice, style, and tone of different brands, and write according to their unique standards.
  • Demonstrated ability to work closely with a team.
  • Understanding in writing and editing practices
  • Effective time management skills and ability to meet strict deadlines
  • Self-motivated and goal-oriented individual who is flexible and able to switch between tasks easily
  • Strong research, writing, and editorial skills, with the ability to self-edit and rewrite quickly on deadline.

You Also Have:

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in English Literature, marketing or media
  • The previous experience in copy-writing is a plus.
  • 2-3 years digital marketing & social media experience
  • Strong command of design and content editing skills.

As a Social Media and SEO Content Writer You Will:

  • Write unique and high-quality content for placement on client and third-party websites to reinforce campaign keywords and domain authority
  • Conduct research on client industries, influencers, and partners to assist in creating content that incorporates SEO strategies
  • Stay current with SEO industry trends and algorithm development to ensure SEO best practices are being followed
  • Collaborate with peers to brainstorm writing ideas
  • Work with SEO Account Managers and clients to develop or improve SEO content as needed
  • Prioritize workload effectively and meet client deadlines
  • Leverage online resources and tools while working to meet the expectations of the role and ensure adherence to all Boost policies without in-person manager oversight
  • Working knowledge of WordPress and familiarity with semantic HTML preferred.
  • Ideate and prioritize content
  • Creates & edits social content (IG Stories, Reels, IGTVs)
  • Compiles competitive research for each platform
  • Manage monthly roadmap and compile weekly Social reports
  • Execute monthly reporting and campaign-specific reports
  • Lead specific seasonal events/campaigns in terms of strategy, concept, and creative
  • Alternate posting across channels
  • Partner with Creative team to ensure assets are optimized for social channels
  • Stay up to date on the latest social media trends, best practices, and news touch-points or platforms
  • Support community management, partner with the Customer Service team to advance proactive efforts
